I love my boy, but he is not an artist....

Ian had his third day of Camp Pocahontas today.  Instead of leaving the school, something called Art on Wheels came to them.  I was a little concerned about this because arts and crafts is Ian's idea of torture, though he has gotten slightly better about it in recent years.

When I picked him up in the classroom, he brought over various pictures as I spoke to his teacher.  They were all perfectly colored-in coloring book pages and he seemed to be trying to pass them off as his own.  Then, the one I have posted above showed up, and I knew that was truly his.  But, it's okay.  In spite of a day with an activity he doesn't like, he had good behavior and a good time in a little box house they helped him build.  These people are prepared for EVERYTHING!  And before I left, the teacher pointed out 2 Toy Story pictures hanging on the board, obviously colored by Ian.  She said he insisted that they hang them up there.  That's my boy.....

  1. yes he absolutely is! As a matter of fact, the color is most concentrated in the center were the image is!
